WEEK 21 - finals week 2

 We saw 90 players take to the course this week playing 94 rounds. 


Remember in final round  you can play once.  

The finals format is: -  

• Week 20 – done & dusted.  

• Week 21 – done & dusted.  

• Week 22 – 18th March to Friday 24th March is grand final week players are only allowed  to play 1 round for that week.  

• All scores will be kept secret for the 3 final rounds and revealed at the Presentation.  

• All cards must be to the Summer Teams Committee by 8:00pm Friday 24th March.  

• Presentation Saturday 1st April.  


This week saw 6 birdies.  Best Individual score for the week was Jason Harrison on 21 nett. Balls went to 29 on a count  back, these will be available on Presentation Night.  

Nearest the Pins – the 2nd hole was taken out by Lindsay Hughes with 460cm, the 5th hole was  taken out by Craig McGilvray with 210cm, and the 18th hole was taken out by Mark Gerrard  with 305cm. We had 2 players land on the 2nd hole, 2 players landed on the 5th hole & 3 players  land on the 18th hole. Remember, the 2nd hole is for handicaps 10 & over, the 5th hole is for  handicaps 9 & under, and the 18th hole is open for everyone.  


If you can assist at the presentation, I am looking for some volunteers to with the food  preparation and cooking, if anyone can help, please let me know.

Please remember to take a sand bucket with you on your round and fill any divots that you  create in your play. Also, if you know how to, please also repair pitch marks on the green, if  you are unsure of how to make these repairs, there are several members who can assist.

WEEK 20 - finals week 1

We saw 94 players take to the course this week playing 98 rounds. 

Remember that in Round  2 (11th to 17th) you can play as many times as you like; we will take the best score. However,  for the 3rd week of the finals you can only play once.  


The finals format is: -  

• Week 20 – done & dusted.  

• Week 21 – 11th March to 17th March play as many times as you like we will take your  best score.  

• Week 22 – 18th March to Friday 24th March is Grand Final week players are only allowed  to play 1 round for that week.

Nearest the Pins – the 2nd hole was taken out by Sue Ruffles with 270cm, the 5th hole was  taken out by Jono Schofield with 620cm, and the 18th hole was taken out by Nick Hetherington  with 574cm. We had 1 player land on the 2nd hole, 1 player landed on the 5th hole & 2 players  land on the 18th hole. Remember, the 2nd hole is for handicaps 10 & over, the 5th hole is for  handicaps 9 & under, and the 18th hole is open for everyone.

WEEK 19

 We saw 89 players take to the course this week playing 91 rounds.  

The top 5 teams this week are: Mostly Family on 117 nett; Big Sticks & The Woollie Ones on  118 nett; Gee”Gee’s 2, Party Central, Bidgee Bog Busters & Gunners all on 119.  

The finals are upon us, the teams split into two divisions of 10 teams for Division 1 and 9  teams for Division 2 (see below). All teams have been taken back to “0”, and we start the  progressive score again for the 3 finals rounds. Good luck to all teams.

 We saw 85 players take to the course this week playing 87 rounds.  

The top 5 teams this week are: Gee”Gee’s 1 on 113 nett; Dimpled Balls on 14 nett; Gee”Gee’s  2 on 116 nett; Ballz of Steele & Mostly Family on 117 nett.  

Top 5 team scores after 18 rounds are: Cruisers on 2151 nett; Gee”Gee’s 1 on 2173 nett; King  Stitched on 2175 nett; Narrandera Auto Wreckers on 2190 nett; Bidgee Bog Busters & Mostly  Family on 2204 nett.  

Best Individual scores for the week were Leisa Williams & Colin Longford on 24 nett with Leisi  winning on a count back; Linda McGilvray, Shaun Gehringer, Michael Mellon & Marc Duncan  on 26 nett. Balls went to 29 on a count back, these are listed in the Pro Shop so do not forget  to ask and collect your prize.  

Nearest the Pins – the 2nd hole was taken out by Byron Horrell with 701cm, the 5th hole was  taken out by Dan Grant with 247cm, and the 18th hole was taken out by Lee Longford with  165cm. We had 3 players land on the 2nd hole, 2 players landed on the 5th hole & 5 players  land on the 18th hole. Remember, the 2nd hole is for handicaps 10 & over, the 5th hole is for  handicaps 9 & under, and the 18th hole is open for everyone.
