The Annual General Meeting of Narrandera Golf Club was held on Sunday 14th November, 2021 and election of new office bearers was completed. 

The Committee for 21/22 will be Gary Hoskinson returning as President as is Duncan McLay, Senior Vice President, and Dot Bliss as Junior Vice President. Gary Shanley remains as Treasurer and Graeme Hoare has accepted the role of Captain. 

Committee members are Lee Longford, Bill Napper and Sameera Bashir. Two positions are still available on the committee so this is a chance for members interested in their Club to become more involved in the running of it by putting your name forward.

President Gary thanked his Committee for their support, the dedicated volunteers, the bar and kitchen staff and the many tradies who gave their time and hard work in assisting with the projects. These projects include the replacing of the dance floor and Grant’s Sawmill were very generous with their support in this area. An upgrade of long out-dated kitchen equipment, i.e. Dishwasher, cooktops and ovens was finalised and the auditorium received a new colour scheme. A split system air conditioner was installed in the office and two new poker machines as well as two new golf carts were also purchased. New golf cart sheds are also being installed  by volunteers as well as the Club for the extra carts that are now appearing on course. 

Future projects with grant applications being looked into are the refurbishment of the bar, Men and Ladies Toilets,and  fitting disabled toilets showers and baby change table.   

Gary told those present the Committee is looking forward to continuing bringing the Club up to one of the best in the region and country N.S.W.  A BBQ was then provided for the number of people who attended.
