After a 29 year drought the Narrandera Golf Club Ladies Pennant team won the 2021 Riverina Women’s Golf Association Pennant Competition, defeating Wagga City Golf Club 4/1 in the final at Corowa Golf Club on a very cold and damp July day. The team consisting of Sameera Bashir, Karen Grant (c),  Lee Longford, Glenda Whitby, Wendy Powell, Jan McGilvray and Mary Phillips were undefeated throughout the season, winning all  5 zone matches, followed by a semi final, then the  preliminary final and the Grand Final on the 5th of July. The team is very excited and proud to represent the Narrandera Golf club and hope to perform well again next year.
